Rie looked over at Kaiyo and smiled to herself, reliving the sweet memories.
"Oh, yes," She began. "Well, before I met him, I was alone. I had no one with me, and I'm sure you know how dangerous it is in Hueco Mundo to be alone."
She chuckled, "So, yeah. I was just suddenly surrounded by these huge hollows and I was no match for them, obviously. But I still fought them. And just when I knew it was the end for me...he came. And he saved me. Szayel-sama saved me.
He made me his fraccion afterwards, seeing how strong I was, I think. Why he thought that, I don't know..."

Kaiyo pulled her knees up to her chin.
"Well....I have no recollection of my memories before him....He found me in the sand and carried me back....I'm sure I'm just kept around because of my special ability....but he found me...so maybe he cares a little."

Yui looked back between both girls, seeing their obvious affection for their Espada masters. She felt somewhat left out because she was fraccion to a woman. Oh well! She continued to sip her tea and anxiously awaited Kaiyo's response to Rie's question.
